I haven't used it personally but looking at the stats and typings, it's really good and usable in singles. As for doubles, I'm unsure.

Singles seems like it'd be everything you'd want it to be, you can scarf it to make up for faster competition that doesn't scarf or you can band it as a revenger to clean up when your opponent is on the downhill slope. Seems solid.

Subpar offensive typing.

Its movepool is pretty underwhelming. But besides that, it has potential. Just wait the dust to settle.

Because people haven't figured out how to properly use beast boost yet. It doesn't need swords dance or anything because it boosts off the ability. Doesn't need healing because any fast special attacker is gonna mean a switch out. You run full coverage. Leaf Blade, Smart Strike, Night Slash, Sacred Sword. At least Neutral on everything in the game. Life orb is fine, scarf or band could work, but this is one of the rare instances where the 20% boost off the Expert Belt comes in handy cause you are finding those SE hits. Even if they bring in a fire mon, after 2 Beast boosts a neutral Sacred sword can OHKO.
