With speed boosting, you outspeed stuff like mega zam/dactyl. Pretty rare.

With attack, you miss out on those possibly fatal outspeeds, but essentially get moxie as an ability, with is pretty nice.

I have an adamant and two jolly and was thinking impish for the fourth for the hell of it because its defense is nice and it gets synthesis.

Well, most are probably stacking Ice-types rather than having at most 3. My hail team in progress is Kommo-O, Reuniclus, Ninetails, Typhlosion, Sandslash, and Lapras.

Clefable, Alakazam, and other Pokemon that can absorb or protect against Ice's weaknesses are good choices as well. Flash Fire Chandelure comes to mind.

If you want a special-based one for some reason you can go the other way

I tend to favor defense down over sdef down because it's harder to nerf special in doubles but in singles with boosting being easier on the physical side I get sdef-
