Some of these megas the cut may have looked neat, but a pathetic amount of megas were actually good pokemon.

What's more is that too many one stage evolution and no evolution pokemon were given megas instead of just being given evolutions.

The whole idea was a dumb gimmick from the outset, and the atrocious amount of legendaries, and extremely OP legendaries, who received a mega evo are evidence of that. Shit like mega rayquaza is just fucking dumb. The primal forms for Kyogre and Groudon are also fucking dumb. Mega mewtwo forms are fucking dumb. They're nothing more than "oooooh, the big numbers" sensationalism.

I hope every mage legendary gets cut, they already have inflated BSTs for fuck's sake.

What I find absolutely retarded is that the AI uses the Mega's that we can't buy the Stones for. What exactly is the point of not including them in the game in the first place? They've already said that they're not focusing on them atm, so what's the harm in having all of them being available as opposed to only a third of them?
