Steel is just refined iron. If we were using Chinese elements it would have a major spot. With Greek elements I'd put it between fire and earth, though.

Pokemon doesn't really fit in with the 4 elements, especially since so much hinges on the whole fire/water/grass triangle.

These don't work backwards - for example, Psychic is resistant to Fighting, and Fighting is resistant to Dark, but Dark is immune to Psychic. The only type triangle which doesn't include Fire, Water, or Grass that works is Fighting->Rock->Flying.
