Suddenly gamefreak makes pokemon have three types. How would you react?
>triple weaknesses

It would probably be an absolute mess, but I have to admit it always tickles my autism whenever pokémon that can fly don't have the Flying type.
>steel flying dragon
I would be happy
>>30355355
rip flygon
>>30355262
>Dragon/Bug/Steel
>zero weaknesses
YES
>>30355262
>>30355322
>>30355325
>>30355355
Technically...
>>30355262
>dewpider used bubble
>>30355262
NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
>>30355395
fire 2x
>>30355355
>Volcarona can fly
>becomes Bug/Fire/Flying
I don't want this
>>30355571
Dragon resists fire
Pokémon with Levitate should take 2x from Electric-type Moves.
>>30355322
dryskin parasect has a triple weakness to fire
>>30355755
True, but it's still a 2x weakness. Bug and Steel are both weak to Fire.
>>30355755
Dragon vs. Fire = 0.5x
Dragon/Bug vs. Fire = 1x
Dragon/Bug/Steel vs. Fire = 2x
>>30355798
>quadruple weaknesses
>>30355667
>Switch in to Stealth Rock
>>30355393
Flygon would probably be better overall. I mean yeah Snorunt could literally use Ice Shard and kill it, but its Ground typing neuters the additional Rock and Electric weaknesses that Flying would otherwise bring so overall it's breddy gud.
>>30355667
They should have given it levitate.
>>30355951
or an ability that makes it immune to rock damage
>>30355355
This. Mons like venomoth or beedrill should at least have an immunity to ground moves because they fucking float. Also the magnemite line.
Who would you want to have three types?
>>30355262
What it could have been.
>Grass/Ghost/Flying Decidueye
>Fire/Dark/Fighting Incineroar
>Grass/Ghost/Water Dhelmise
>Bug/Electric/Flying Vikavolt
>Ice/Fighting/Water Crabominable
>Water/Poison/Rock Toxapex
And many, many more.
>>30356560
I kinda want to see the type chart for it.
>>30356681
My maths might be way off, but I believe that you'd end up with 5525 rows on top of the hundred and something you already get with two types.
>>30355262
all ice types will be shit then
>be 8x weak to rock
>switch into sneaky pebbles
>die
>>30355798
dry skin makes a pokemon take 25% more damage.
that gives it a total 500% damage from fire, tops. a triple weakness would give 800% damage.
>>30355971
>molten armor
>rock attacks buff its defense by two stages or heals it instead of hurting it
