Platinum, HGSS, BW, and BW2 are all great. Really, anything but the original DP.

I prefer BW to BW2, but a repeat playthrough of BW2 would probably be more fun. Platinum as well is worth a look if you're really itching for Gen 4. Since it's the only good Gen 4 game after all.

For whatever the reason I wasn't a huge HGSS guy. And I'm a gen 2 fanboy. Dunno why.
