>80 hours into the game
>realize there's an entire optional area on the first island that I completely missed
Same dude. I couldn't find ten karat hill for the life of me. Finally got to it after island 3. I also still have yet to get to the beach st the upper right of mele mele
>>30334930
Htf do you even get to that beach? I'm too autistic to figure it out
>>30335012
There's a cave that you get through a hole in the meadow. They tucked it in the corner, so it's easy to miss if you don't want to mess around in the high encounter rate yellow flowers.
>>30335012
>>30334930
There's a secret passage in the dance bird meadow.
I almost went through the entire playthrough without realizing we have a desert in Alola.
>>30334860
There's also the ocean by Ten Carat Hill.
And the secret part of Ten Carat Hill
>Miss the area and come back to it later
>Have to play Metal Gear Solid because fuck fighting level 18 trainers with my level 90+ Pokemon
>tfw played the game for 60 hours before realizing that you could glide between islands instead of taking the boat
>>30334860
I didn't even realize I didn't have the Flying Z Crystal until I found it in Ten Karat.
>>30335038
>>30335034
I eventually found this out on my own because I saw parts of the map of Melemele shadowed so I was confused on how I missed parts of the very first island where you don't even leave until doing a full circle
>tfw found Flynium Z just by being curious
This is the shit I love. Optional shit in routes that reward you for being curious and just exploring.
I literally visited this place post game because I assume you get there after tapu koko's bridge was fixed.
They hid that hole a bit too well.
Fuck. I'm on island 2, it's not too late.
How do I get there, exactly?
>>30335103
And you get there and there's fuck all
>>30335517
There are wild Bagon.
>>30335038
>tfw had to look up a guide because it kept saying it was on route 3 somewhere
>spent like half an hour trying to figure out where the fuck it was, only to find it was in the meadow
Oh thank God I'm not the only one. I literally just went to Seaward Cavern after finding this thread and went to the desert post-game.
>>30335621
how do i get into the cavern
>>30335866
Go to the far bottom left of the meadow, they'll be a very tiny hole you can crawl through in the wall.
>>30334860
This was me, except with the desert
I only found out it existed because my Island Scan spawned there
>>30334860
I skipped the desert in the third island. JUST.
>>30335517
there's a psychic z crystal
>>30336066
>tfw reading your post and remembering there was a desert
Huh. I've been trying to go to places before I beat the Elite Four and I keep discovering shit I forgot to do.
>>30336079
There's a TM too, but I forgot for what.
>>30336127
It's a really, really awful desert. It has Zelda Lost Woods mechanics.
>>30336171
implying there are deserts that aren't really really awful
>>30336127

>>30335555
It's the same as the grass on top.
>>30336227
I've found the Psychium Z, but I think I got lost. I don't know if my desert is the same one somehow, since now it's stuck in a loop.
>>30336596
Wait never mind, I figured it out. Still stupid.
the camera and map in this game makes me so angry
