Tyranitar might as well be a dragon though.

Tyranitar is basically a dragon in all but type, Metagross is the only good pseudo. Dragon is the worst type and Tyranitar should feel bad for trying to be one.

1) New type should get representation (see metagross and steel)
2) Gen II is "make an attempt to fuck psychic types" generation after the landslide that is psychic types in Gen I so it was psychic
3) sure the 4x weakness is a 'muh pattern' thing especially considering metagross never had one, but the 4x fighting weakness could have potentially increased the usage of such a type after allowing fighting types breathing room since they weakened the psychic type
