The idea is that you use it, maybe take some damage and then switch out thanks to its ability, making it like a pseudo U-turn of sorts as well.

It's damn good already. With those stats, all it would really need to do is use FI, and either take enough damage to switch out (And do the same shit again later), or be able to pick off what's left with Aqua jet or sucker punch. Shit, only thing I could recommend is giving its HP a little boost to go with its already decent defense stats.

Golisopod is slow as fuck, and by the time you get to use your vanilla non-secondary effect X-scissor your opponent gets a hit, the Emergency Exit triggers, and you just did nothing.
Having a base 90 priority STAB move is huge and it's the only reason Golisopod may be a viable revenge killer.

You're trying to use it like Conk instead of taking advantage of more it can do instead of just sweeping late game. Its ability makes longer fights a pain unless its your last mon, and its going to be weakened by then. It doesn't have the health to just keep leeching and aqua jetting.

It can punch more holes with that move and possibly score some early aqua jet or sucker punch kills before it even gets touched and forced out, and when it does you can do it all over again.
