Did they up the shiny rate? I've never seen a legit shiny that wasn't an eventmon/gyarados, but I caught a shiny fletchling and smeargle in this one.

My very first shinies were in Silver and it was Stantler but RNG must have been my bro that night because I also caught a shiny Kingler, shiny tentacool and shiny Ghastly. Soul silver my first and only was Swinub (my first encounter in ice path) and Omega Ruby four Ralts- male, female, female, male. Nothing in Moon as of yet.

Also, yesterday I caught a shiny Bagon.
