Is it worth getting a 3ds this late in the handheld cycle? With the incoming Switch in March is it worth picking one up for the holidays. There are a ton of great games out for it now, but the second Switch launches there will be few to no decent new games on the horizon as all development will focus on it.
With that said, what are some of the positives of buying a 3ds this late besides the pricing?

The 3DS is the best console this generation with an amazing backlog of games, and the Switch is not backwards compatible.

Definitely worth it if just for the games that are already on it. Even if there won't be many more notable new titles, you can still get dozens of great games for it and the system is available for super cheap

Get a 3ds and hack it. Save the money you would have used on 3ds games for the Switch+games.
