What EVs should I run on this guy? Finally just got done breeding one and am thinking of running something like
Golisopod @ Assault Vest
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Liquidation
- Leech Life
- Sucker Punch
Definitely pumping 252 to atk, but I don't know which defensive stat to dump the rest on.
I'd say defense
Maybe HP? Can't go wrong with HP.
Also, just wondering but why aren't you running First Impression?

...for what purpose

>Remove Liquidation and replace it with First Impression.
>Remove Vest and replace it with Band
>Split EVs into Attack Defense
Anon this build is so good. First Impression 1 taps almost anything that isnt resistant to bug.
>Banded Mega Alakazam? Top fuckin kek
Once you kill the mon switch into another tank then back into Golisopod and use Aqua Jet. I run him on a Rain Dance team and he shreds.
SP and LL are backup moves.
I'm retarded. I meant to put first impression in there instead of liquidation or sucker punch

Doesn't running choice band pretty much guarantee that he has to be switched out after a first impession? That feels very abusable since the switch in after First Impression knocks a pokemon out could easily set up for a sweep assuming they can't be OHKO'd by Golisopod when he comes back in.

You would think but He is so tanky with DEF EVs that it would take a glass cannon special fighter to do damage to him which isnt super popular atm since Genger and such got nerfed. After you use First Impression to almost guarantee a kill Rain Dance Banded Aqua Jet or even Leech Life will sustain you.

Probably HP? If you want to reach precise thresholds to stay above 50% from popular mons' hits you'll need to check their common sets and do the calcs. HP is a safe, basic choice since it'll give you more resilience against both damage types.
