Why does gamefreak hate the Ice type? It's entire existence just doesn't add up. Most of its weaknesses and resistances don't make sense.
Ice type should resist fighting because ice is fucking cold to the touch, and nobody punches through fucking ice.
By extension steel should be weak to ice and take neutral from fighting because literally science says so.
If you could fix the ice type, what would you change?

I don't get why people say we just need to make more fast attacking ice types to make it good, the ratio of slow and bulky to fast and powerful is around 5 to 1. Why not buff the 5 that need it?

Because bulky ice types are retarded. And Fire will always be in the meta and shit on said bulky ice-types. Same with mixed typing that includes Rock fighting and steel types.
