Regions are weird because something like Johto is "paced" really poorly even when factoring in Kanto but it is so fucking enjoyable to walk around in and the way it contrasts with Kanto makes it so pleasing to look at.

Probably the blandest, most insipid, water-flavored region ever created. Retarded layout, the towns were boring as fuck (maybe excluding Sunyshore), gimmicky routes with obnoxious amounts of HMs needed to traverse, and the worst caves in a region full of mountains.
