Why not just give ground types that are the exception to the rule of ground type moves just affecting the ground like bonemerang the effect that they can hit flying types for resisted damage?

Can you think of any other ground type moves where the immunity is illogical other than bone club, thousand arrows and bone rush?

But let's be real, do you really want Excadrill to be able to run Sand Rush AND be able to hit Airborne Pokemon?

Ground is already a super strong type, it doesn't really need a buff. Flying types are already fucked by Silent Sediment anyways.
