Why is this game so intensive when it has the same graphics as

i only have fps drops when tauros is charging, and in battles with 3 or more pokemon on the field. its definitely obnoxious

I get them in double battles and totem battles but I'm on a 2ds

I've barely had a frame drop during double battles on the N3ds XL. I mean its a little bit noticeable but not really.

A)Trainers are shown in battles.
B)Same issue XY has where they model polygon counts are retardly high due to future proofing.

I'm on a N3DS XL as well and the only time it's happened for me is during totem battles (but it's like clockwork, each totem battle is laggy as shit). Double battles have been fine for me. But then again, Game Freak is so incompetent from a technical perspective that I wouldn't be surprised if it were affected by things like which Pokemon you were using.

It's the worst optimized Pokemon game I can remember. Still not bad to the point it stops me from playing at least.
