It has absurd defenses. Any defense or special defense boosting nature is fine. Best moveset is Recover, Scald, Haze and either Toxic or Toxic Spikes. Some people use Baneful Bunker in that last slot too.

That's why Toxapex has teammates. To tank those types of attacks. A-Marowak and Tsareena for instance pair amazingly well with Toxapex for that very reason.

Even in a best case scenario, you've still lost 80% on a slow, priorityless pokemon.
Worst case is the opponent had stealth rocks up and you just lost your marowak from 100% on a resisted switch in.

And Tsareena does even worse against Bulu, since it can't even hurt him back before she dies to a second wood hammer.
