I even went as far as getting Tapu Fini in a Premier Ball. It took lots and lots of taunting, luck, and soft-resets to prevent it from setting up Aqua Ring.

For whatever reason I took this as a challenge and caught Kyurem in a premier ball. After that I was like "I kinda dig premier balls." and so they became my main go to ball for pokemon I wanna add to my team
I also like Luxury balls for mons that require friendship to evolve. Or Parasect, because I love Parasect.

My preference is for the entire team to have a matching set.

I always try to have my first main team in different balls by the time they make to the league, even if that means recatching and training something. Which is mild for this thread I guess.

I also autisticly made an all Legendary+Guzzlord team this time arround, all in the finest balls and EV trained.
Took me two hours to get a Lunala online with a Moonball but it was worth it, aside from the fact that I don't know what there even is to do with them.

That's the Park Ball, the non-pokeball you use to get your pokemon from gen III in the pal park, and the reason they had to rename Gen II's Park Ball the Sport Ball.
