Disappointing as Pikipek's evolution.

They designed it this way because a Toucan already looks as flamboyant as the average Pokemon to begin with

Having a Just My Mom's animal evolve into something cool, like Pidgey into Fabio Pidgeot, is great.

Doesn't work in reverse. Pikipek was already cartoony and cool looking.

I love it's shiny colors which is why I went and got mysepf one.

1) Should have been Fire/Flying or Steel/Flying, with some minor visual changes to indicate that (i.e. beak could be metal, or some kind of indicator that the beak is heated other than the color)
2) Different ability from Skill Link, or more opportunities to utilize Skill Link.
3) either more speed or more bulk

Rowlet can't kill anything but itself when it fully evolves.

I still dislike the fact it's literally an angry toucan, but I regret not using it because from what I've seen it has a very diverse movepool.
