So uh, question.
Is there a way I can assemble the 10% form even after I've already gathered 50% of the cells? Because I kinda skipped the assembly thing because I was focused on other things, and I'd like to have the 10% in my Pokedex.

Zygard can completely wall out typical physical rayquaza sets. Megafug has answers to zygard, outrage/draco/icebeam will all handle Zygard pretty handedly.

However this gives Mega fug a serious case of 4 move syndrome.

Ice beam/outrage/draco
Extreme speed/earthquake

If you go extreme speed, rayquaza will get walled by Aegislash or any bulky steel types, if he gets ride or extreme speed he has no priority.

Without priority, Arcues can revenge kill after 1 defense drop and 1 turn of life orb damage.


Zygard isn't some nichemon, he checks of very physical mons in ubers. Primal Groudon struggles against him as does Mega Salamence, Ho-oh and other flying times aren't safe against him as mono attack thousand arrows is so good.

Assuming they have nothing to phase you out, you can set up quite easily and take out a huge chunk of your opponent team. Setting him up should be easy enough, switch him in on any physical mon and you either force them to switch out or they help you into complete form.

Anyone else really like 10% Zygarde? Ayy lmao doggo is a great design and he's a pretty decent mid game mon and can even be useful fighting the E4, but by then you should have 50 cells.

I really liked how they handled Zygarde, in general, taking this relatively weak mon and through hard work and dedication turning him into this OP legendary. Alot more satisfying than simpling catching Zygarde post game. Really Gamefreak should do this more often, having Legendaries become available through optional sidequests. I hate getting a free legendary through the storyline.

I always thought it'd have an ability or move to turn the battle into an inverse battle, it's really the only way the act of "Balance" would make sense to me. I mean it already inverses the aura abilities and stuff, and the only place you could ever find the inverse battles was right outside his home... it seemed like foreshadowing or something, but it never showed up. Oh well, It could just have a Z move later on as a patch or something...
