What's the point of giving us a story battle there if we wont be able to use it until much later?
Since going there was part of the story I assumed it would be usable instantly just like how Whitney showed of the Pokeathlon Dome or Clay showed off the PWT.
Hell, I wasnt even given a chance to prepare for the story battle and Hau's Torracat just killed my Fomantis.

i marathoned all the difficulties in about 1 hour with some hacked but still legal UBs, and each match took about 5 tries and 15 minutes just brute forcing it

Fucking this. I was so pumped to start grinding for an ability capsule just when the npcs sent out their lv 50 fully evolved shits that were 25 levels above mine and they all ganged up on me.
