How about introducing a new held item called the "Microphone" and have it so that it boosts sound based moves' base power by 35% more and grants any usage of a sound based move to bestow the user 30% more speed for that duration of the turn. But its main drawback is that it only works for three sound based moves within one battle. However every turn that said microphone holder is spent not out in battle but in their pokeball, a new "attack" is recharged for it. Also when hit by another sound based move, 33% of the damage taken by the microphone holder will be returned back at the attacker at the cost of one attack charge (this happens regardless, and if there's no more charge then no counter damage is returned.)

Never-Melt Ice increases ice damage, thats it.
Mystic Water increases water damage, thats it.
Silk Scarf increases Normal damage, thats it.

Microphone increases damage by more than those, but only works on 3 moves so it has to list which moves, also gives a massive speed buff, and works on a fucking charge system that we would have to keep track of or ignore. and also functions as a rocky helmet for sound moves.

Why couldn't her Hidden Ability just be Pixilate? GameFreak even gives her Hyper Voice but they knows there's no room in her for it without Pixilate. Her hidden ability is a cool concept but without a boost, what's the point of taking anything besides Aria or Surf?

Well Aria is a detrimental ability, so there's plenty of reason to not use it. The only use of the HA is to have a surf that doesn't hurt allies and goes through substitutes.

In other words, there really isn't one. Unless someone at GameFreak decides they like it, Primarina is stuck with a nerfed Smelling Salts and a nerfed Pixilate.

So how did you guys use your Primarina and how well did she perform? She was my team's special tank of where'd I occasionally substitute an attacking move with Reflect or Light Screen and has performed pretty well with notable mentions to Totem Gumshoos, Salazzle, Guzma and Lusamine.

I agree. It looks really, really out of place nearly all of the time. I've seen a few where it looks natural, but most of the time they look wrong due to how long Primarina is.
Usually good when it's just cleavage hidden by the frill on her chest, though.

Azura. I mean there's the fact that I have been playing FE Fates to kill time until Sun&Moon came out. Primarina being shown next to a drawn to scale human character for size reference gives me some absurdly gooey feelings. Primarina is a pretty fucking large Pokemon factoring in width of her midsection (I hate to say ass, but I guess that's basically her butt/hips so yea...big ass.) and her total body length from head to tail tip. Imagine a Primarina sleeping with you in your bed. Her lower half would be totally intertwining with you. I need it.

Actually, anon. I'd hate to burst your bubble but I think the 5'11 is when she's standing on her flippers. Elongated pokemon, especially serpentine ones, usually have their size misinterpreted because it's actually how long they are.
Serperior is relatively small, because resources state the length of the pokemon as opposed to the height.

But then why not just use Surf? The only difference is that Sparkling Aria heals burns and supposedly goes through substitutes. Bigger issue, though, is that the other starters get purely beneficial secondary effects, yet Primarina gets a negative one.

You've been discussing this exact thing for the past 5 fucking threads, nobody uses Sparkling Aria or Surf.
You're not forced to use their signature moves.
Primarina gets Hydro Pump and Scald, way better STABs and has the highest Sp.A.
Decidueye doesn't get a single high BP STAB, Incineroar doesn't get Knock off/Pursuit/Sucker Punch, so you can't compare them since they've broad differences. All the starters this gen are subpar.
