Faba should led sa splinter Aether faction and unleash other ultrabeasts on each islands and you have to stop them, with the UBs being the final fight of each islands. Better than Looker and Anabel telling you "go to this location, catch the beast in random encounter".

I'm just going to headcanon that later down the road, protagonist and Hau (and maybe Gladion) go to Kanto, find her, and travel with her. Hau sounds like he wants to go there soon anyways and it's a logical next step.

But I doubt we'll ever see that. I think Lillie might be the only friend we see in future games, but not connected with S/M's protagonist of course.
