Protag wants to catch 'em all no matter what. Endangering the Alola region and making the Aether family suffer are nothing in comparison.

If Zygarde is in Alola as an extension to it being a protector of Kalos and not wanting UBs to fuck shit up over there, then why doesn't Rayquaza show up as protector of the skies?

My guess is that Palkia is too busy with Dialga and Zygarde is stuck in the cube you put him and his pieces in.
