It was pretty solid. Story was on par with BW if not slightly better. Legends and lore were detailed throughout the entire game unlike XY, and in the end, had some pretty decent feels resulting in a satisfying adventure. Only gripe is that the ending ceremony was dragged on way too long, on top of an encounter that you're just forced in without warning.

Average story. Not as good as X/Y but better then the garbage that was B/W, B/W2 and D/P/Plat.

SuMo was about in the middle, leaning on good.

Beat the game (i.e. becoming the Champion) in about 26 hours because I underestimated how much I'd fucked up by not training my team outside of required fights towards the end so I got my ass handed by Hala's Bewear (My team has crippling Fighting-Type Weakness).

I think this story is probably one of the best ones they've done, the only other one I can really compare it to is Gen 5's since both were a lot more in your face than other generations, and overall I'd say that Sun/Moon does it significantly better than Black/White and fairly better than Black2/White2.

The only thing I didn't like about Sun/Moon was how slow the beginning was as well as its restrictiveness during that time. I get it set up plot and all that but I would've like to have been able to catch and train Pokemon before the story started to kick in.

I thought the story was pretty good desu. Probably the first time I wanted there to be more. I hope we get sequels and not a third version, I wanna see what happens going forward. I'll agree it started off slow but I really liked the story by the end.

Three days total. I think it's the best game in the series yet. The characters were pretty good, I like the idea of a game where the player isn't the center of the universe. Refresh is a great upgrade from Pokemon-Amie. I love how the legendary was integrated into the story. The island challenge was a refreshing departure from the gym challenge, even though that Lurantis was a pain in the ass. The new Pokemon are... new Pokemon, I tend not to form strong positive or negative opinions about most Pokemon in general. Ultra Beasts are a great addition to the series lore, but Ultra Space could have been better. Overall, the story felt kind of like a mix of Mystery Dungeon and Colosseum.

I love how you actually get to be the champion at the end, and actually battle challengers like what the in-game champions do. That's something that I feel was sorely missing from past games, where you basically become the champion and then hardly anything changes afterward. But in Sun and Moon, you get to wait in that room, you get to sit in the cool chair, you are the master and people have to challenge you for the title.

Took me about 20 hours.
It's a pretty good game, if I had to rate the generations I'd say
5 > 7 > 4 > 3 > 6 > 1 > 2

Around 45-50.

At 55 hours on ub-02 currently

Going to backup my save and replay the game after the ub stuff.

I'll skip all the catching of Pokemon/exploring on the next playthrough.
