Its a different player model, you dunce, you can't just slap that shit in and expect it to be fine, they'd have to edit the models, or more likely have to re-model them. Either way, they focused on NEW stuff
HOWEVER, I will concede they didn't make enough fashion items or hairstyles/colors for this game, it's not particularly hard to model more clothes for something this low poly.

I'm hatching eggs and breeding more literally right below the nursery. There's a hole you can get in and mount a tauros and no matter what direction you spam it won't get out. So you can just have one hand wiggling the thumbstick randomly while you watch videos and occasionally look down to see if an egg has hatched or if the nursery girl crossed her arms (which you can see from the spot)

As much as I like a bunch of the new features I don't quite understand why they have to remove a bunch outside of GameFreak being GameFreak.

The lack of Rotation, Triple, and Inverse battles (even though there's one "mini game" in Festival Plaza that tests your knowledge on Inverse type match ups...) really bothers me in particular. Battle Royal has eight models on screen (four Pokemon, four Trainers) while Triple Battles and Rotation Battles would theoretically have the same (six Pokemon, two Trainers). It's garbage.
