Mine has shield dust, psychic, dazzling gleam, and quiver dance. Your best ability would be shield dust. Don't have specific EV/IV, but I would focus it on it's speed,special attack, or special defense depending on what you want out of it.

My set is pretty piss poor at the moment DESU. But; I found an Abra with Adamant nature with Synchronize, and just kept it with me leveling up. Has been useful sometimes. I'm basically just using it to clear Ally Pokemon. My method for this run was:

- Open with Alakazam.
- Switch out to Snorlax w/ Hold Back (or whatever with False Swipe).
- Knock the target down to 1 HP, and start counting PP used up by the target.
- Switch back to Kadabra, clear out Ally Pokemon until I think I need to change up the summoning Pokemon.
- Switch to Snorlax, rinse, repeat.

Really all I needed was a Synchronize Pokemon with the nature I wanted, another Pokemon with False Swipe, and then enough PP restore and sustain to keep the battle going. Used Ethers and Elixers I had on hand; haven't been able to purchase them yet.

Kadabra has Eviolite; it has Psychic, Recover, Hidden Power and a fourth move I didn't use at all (which is now Role Play, which I guess is useful for identifying the target Pokemon's ability, but I actually don't know if Role Play is cancelled when you switch out - you wouldn't want to lose Synchronize during a chain, I don't think).

Would Ribombee be able to survive in comps though. Its fast but not as fast as many other mons and it is pretty much a glass canon. I see it doing decent in doubles but even then it is pretty weak.

Scald is more than enough firepower for a majority of the game. It should serve you well until you get Liquidation. Then Araquanid will destroy shit even harder.

Competitive is another story, though, and I won't touch it because I don't play competitively.

My team's had a bunch of unexpected bros, from Wishiwashi to Grimer/muk, To Alolan marowak as far as dealing with a few totems, but Golisipod became a bro the moment it evolved. Legitimately swept trough the rest of the team off of first impressions, all while tanking a bunch of hits, an emergency exit always kicks in right when I need a swap out anyway.

I had all 3 of them on my team. They all served different purposes. Golisopod was a lead and was primarily a bug attacker. Araquanid was a nice special wall and was primarily a water attacker. Vikivolt was my answer to flying types since half of my team was weak to flying and I had no resists. They all function differently, and in-game isn't that tough, so just use what you like.
