I do have one. Using a hacked 2DS and plan on getting a new 3DS XL and hacking that too.

It's a bit annoying and tedious, but at most it takes an hour for the whole process of downgrading --> a9lh. And completely worth it, just get a 64GB SD card and it's amazing how many games you'll have on your home screen before long.

You literally need to downgrade your 3DS a maximum of 2 times (if you're between 9.2.0 and 11.0.0). If you hardmod your 3DS, do a DSiWare downgrade or your firmware is <9.2.0 then you only need to downgrade once.
