The only steel move than he get is Gyro Ball, but with 96 base speed the damage will be minimal.

Lightning Rod w/ Fake Out, Spiky Shield and Zing Zap makes sonichu pretty scary in VGC, especially with the abundance of electric types. Slap an Air Balloon onto it as well to stop things from railing you immediately with ground type moves.
