>to balance both these forms, we'll make Alolan Ninetales have lower attack but higher speed!
>normal Sandslash has a higher special attack, that makes up for its lower defenses!
>>30091547
Well being able to mix in a physical so you can still hurt special walls without needing x-items is relevant. And Alola sandslash needed that cause it's unsalvageable.
>>30091547
better then marowak who is exactly that same stat wise
>>30091547
That's awesome for A-Ninetales though
>>30092327
Exactly. It's make normal Ninetales worse by comparison.

>Using Ninetales as a mixed attacker

They're balanced by being one of the shittiest defensive types in the game.
>>30092742
But they aren't really comparable. One is an ice-type and the other is a fire-type and they both do completely different things for completely different teams.
>>30092773
Maybe if they were pure ice, but they're also steel and fairy which are good defensive types. Ice is also one of the best attack types.
>>30092796
Both Ninetales will be used for their weather abilities. But Alolan Ninetales can switch into Dragon types and is faster. It also has access to Aurora Veil and Ice Shard.

Is there any salvaging alola Sandslash?
>>30092324
spdef alolan marowak is really good
it can check tapu koko, pheremosa and a few other mons
>>30091547
Well if you send them both out at the same time Drought Ninetales sets its weather since it's slower. There's a plus for it.
