It's good. Stats are nothing to write home about but it gets lightningrod in a very electric heavy meta, can also run iron barbs/helmet which makes people really reluctant to use FO to block it from using a support move and most importantly has great matchups against the Tapu.

x4 ground weak is kind of rough in VGC though, but with Bulu everywhere I'm sure you can engineer a set to tank an EQ.

I'm pretty interested in Vikavolt myself. I've been trying out TR, and Specs Railgunbug is pretty stronk. Gets Thunderbolt, Bug Buzz, and Flash Cannon for fairies. The relative lack of fire moves flying around means it usually only has to worry about rocks, and it's not terrible defensively for a bug. I'm trying to figure out if I can throw in Tap Kok for the added power, or Pelipper for Thunder, but it's a little tough fitting it all into a team that works well, it seems easier to just take advantage of any enemy Kokos.

By the way, can anyone test on cart whether Choice items affect Z Moves? Like, can you use a bug z move after using Thunderbolt?

Let it take a super effective hit with a focus sash, that consumes the item and lets it run acrobatics. Set up while you wait to get hit. I really dont use it as anything other than a suicide lead personally, setting up screens and sneaky pebbles before sacrificing itself to explosion.
