those were likely pokemon that could only have been obtained a certain way or could not have been shiny. Things like a shiny mew from an event code, or a legendary that hasn't been distributed yet.

Yes, you can't have an illegal moveset, or the game will straight up not let you use it online. You're free to use it offline however.

I've wonder traded plenty of genned Pokemon for shits and giggles and never gotten banned (provided they were all "legal")
