Actually, you do because the whole purpose is to hit as hard as you can, or be an offensive pivot. Pheromosa is either suppose to let you make holes in walls, clean up the mess after you get rid of pesky Toxapex and Ghosties, or gain you momentum, which is what Life Orb lets you do. Focus Sash isn't very good on it because entry hazards are most common in OU.
