Is it actually viable to not fully evolve your Torrocat and stick

Need to know this as well

I dunno if Eviolite Torracat is objectively better, but Darkest Lariat is a fairly great move in all honesty.

Will it even survive a turn before it can use it? Seems to be too frail and slow to do the damage it can do? Just a guess looking at stats doe I still only have torrocat
