They just needed to make it that a Pokemon can't call for help in the same turn that a wild Pokemon was KO'd in UNLESS you have an Adrenaline Orb. Also, make it so that Adrenaline Orb prevents failed call for helps.

Not requiring HM slaves is a GOOD thing, the outfits and saddles are ugly, but hey, safety is "required" so it's not that bad.

The Island Challenges are a nice experience, the only complaint I have with them are that they can be lame and too easy. Maybe I'm just a sucker for the puzzles of gyms. Otherwise the Totem battles are the same as Gym leader battles. They're either easy or hard depending on your team and your opponent.

This one is the only true fix I think we need. Why would having 2 wild mons on screen affect pokeballs, of all things? 80% of the problems people find with this mechanic would be gone by just letting the player throw a ball freely.

Limiting the number of reinforcements will break the utility of SOS chaining, which is still nice... when you want it

Just make it an item you can hold to stop chains like someone else suggested. The feature doesnt need to be scrapped, just toned down when all you want is capture something but they keep calling reinforcements because it doesnt even waste their turn, they can do it and heal/stall for as long as they want and that shit gets old fast

Oh no way! It's a neat feature, as annoying as it can be sometimes. They'll probably remove it in the next game like they did Hordes from X/Y. It can be annoying to keep fighting off pokemon till you get a chance to toss the Pokeball, but I think it helps from a training perspective.

If the trials had better puzzles they would be really good. But as it stands, they take all of 10 minutes and there's only ~3 pathetic fights with the unevolved form of the totem Pokemon before hand. It's hardly more challenging than gym fights. The inability to leave the trial room is kinda wasted potential.
