So why was this game given the axe? What made it different from all the fakemon games that made Nintendo decide it needed to be taken down?
Is it even worth looking for it to play it?
They were asking for money to fund shitty updates to their shitty fangame
Why was there so much hype about this game?
I don't get the hype for this piece of shit. It was like any other donut steel romhack.

>So why was this game given the axe? What made it different from all the fakemon games that made Nintendo decide it needed to be taken down?
It had a Patreon and websites like Kotaku were making articles hyping it up, so Nintendo noticed it when they normally don't go out of their way looking for fangames.
>Is it even worth looking for it to play it?
No, there are much better fanmade games you can play. I'm looking forward to Prism's public release, it seems like a much better absurdly-long-to-make fangame.

That's terrible. They deserved it, then.

Prism has
>>GC Graphics
>>No Fakemon
Nope. No good.

>no fakemon
>a bad thing
most fakemon suck, and when they don't (see:Vega) they fuck up the game balance immensely. Going through a new region with a good selection of old pokemon is fine by me.
Also

pick one and one only

>implying GS graphics aren't a positive
And Prism does have Fakemon, there are four(?) Fakemon Legendaries in the game because the author felt making new ones for his region's mythos is better than trying to cram in new lore for Legendaries that already belong to other regions.

Well, looks like I was not doing enough research.
Gotta say, I like all its other features.
