I was going to at least try to get one during my playthrough because I like the design, but holy shit, it (and also Alolan Raichu) were just fucking amazing in terms of potential coverage with movepools, and in Marowaks case, one shotting a couple of the Totem Pokemon.

Not sure about "unexpected" but WishiWashi is busted. If you capture one right before the water trial and give it the Waterium Z you have a monster. Beast stats with a downsides that don't matter and a one-shot nuke.

I found Toucannon slightly disappointing actually. Once he evolves he loses all his speed and doesn't have the bulk to tank many hits. But he swept Guzma for me so there is that. Also, Beak Blast is bad since it attacks last and the burn effect doesn't come in play very often. I just ran Drill Peck instead.

I've played him some on showdown and he's fine on a hail team. Bad weaknesses but also allot of resistances and as long as hail is up he's super fast. With ice, steel, and ground attacks he's hard to switch in on too.

For in game slush rush is a pain to get and you're not gonna build a hail team for in game. Also he comes up kinda late.

I didn't go in planning to catch one, but after getting 4 of my pokemon blown out by the Totem version, I had to grab one. It has yet to be KO'd and one shots anything weak to Ghost, Bug, or Fairy.

I know it's not a new mon but holy fuck Magneton is the soul and backbone of my blind Moon nuzlocke right now. Solo'd Totem Wishi-Washi, Totem Lurantis, Totem Vikavolt, and Totem Mimikyu along with getting my ass out of more then one other sticky situation.

The absolute worst. They're all about level 30 now and I'm right on the fence about catching ones with better natures. I actually was able to find a Salandit with a neutral nature, which I like, but the horse and Grimer are really bugging me knowing that theyre at least 10% less effective in the areas I want.
