Fuck no, the opposite. The only reason I opened up amie before was to play the minigames to take a break from the main game, now that shit is gone. Healing status effects is the only good thing from refresh.

Poke Pelago gives a ton of beans daily.

You unlock it after you beat fire totem.

Also the Cafe in pokemon centers sometimes gives you beans for free.

Is the option to enter pokemon refresh supposed to pop up after every battle? It literally only pops up if my pokemon is status affected or if it's my pikipek

Certain moves will get your pokemon dirty.
If you don't get hit, you won't get refresh.

Contact moves and 'dirtier' typed moves do it more. And water moves get you wet.

Well they added accessibility since you can go to it when your pokemon get statused or dirty. Plus it's quicker to get full affection.

And of course getting rid of status ailments there is new.

It has a function now but it didn't actually add anything that would make it more ENJOYABLE. Removing games and making faces playing peekaboo and shit removes enjoyment. Getting easy beans and status cures is just a function with no emotion attached to it.

I seriously refuse to believe anyone played the Amie minigames for anything other than raising your Pokemon's affection. Shit like peekaboo was buggy as fuck too, would rarely work.
