I'm having a blast with it. I think people are upset about it for the wrong reasons.

This. It peaks again sort of at the Aether raid and Poni Canyon though but if goes back to being a little boring soon after.

The only annoying thing of the game so far is that pokemon can call for help infinitly. Except for that it's fucking fun.

I am in the end of the second island and the festival plaza still keeps telling me to come back tomorrow, not that there EV training will be any good because every tying cost points in there.

Catching wild pokemon is a pain in the ass because they all call for help meaning you have to do this stupid 3 step process every fucking time. paralyze, weaken, clean out helpers, then you may trow the dam pokeball at it.

Everything on this game is a chore. you are given no control whatsoever !!
