I like it as a feature in Dragon Quest games, but in those calling for help uses the monster's action, whereas in this Pokemon can just call for help and it doesn't have any drawbacks.

My favorite is when a pokemon with sturdy gets into a calling loop. This is the stuff of nightmares.
