Are Toxapex, Salazzle and the jellyfish enough to make poison relevant?
Implying Gengar and Venusaur weren't relevant?
>>30037381
salazzle is kind of shit but toxapex is looking good. It gets just enough moves to be able to pull its weight
also poison was already p. good
>>30037413
plus nidoking, tentacruel, amoongus and mega bee are also neat
Salazzle pretty quick, can toxic literally anything and gets some good STABs like Venoshock (with toxic), sludge bomb, and flamethrower.
It's probably one of the best one of the gen. I actually had mine under levelled and it swept boss ladies entire totem team.
Toxapex is a great pivot. I think a Specially defensive build with Regenerator will pair well with Tangrowth and Slowbro.
>>30037443
The fact it can toxic bulky steel types and other poison types gives it a niche.
>>30037381
poison was already relevant the moment fairy mons came into play.
How do you even get Toxapex's prevo? I haven't seen it anywhere
>>30037413
TFW Gengar is no longer relevant ;_;
>>30038023
chaining corsola
>>30038023
Fish up a Corsola and get it to call for help. Then watch as it beats the shit out of Corsola.
>be prominent Poison pokémon with access to Toxic Spikes
>other Poison pokémon can just absorb the spikes upon entering, making them more useful
Toxapex single-handedly saved Poison.
>>30038439
can alien jelly be a useful member of the poison team too?
>>30037381
it's just my mom's mismagius in a shell
Mareainie is cute! CUTE!
>>30038281
>>30038304
Thanks. I want it to fill my 6th slot.
>>30039642
Well shit, it looks like Corsla is pretty rare too.
>>30037381
IT'S TIME TO STALL OUR OPPONENTS TO DEATH, MY BROTHER.
>>30037413
>Gengar
Who?

>cursed body
tobgeg
>>30040019
Yes <3
Total scrub when it comes to both bulk and poison, how is he viable?
>>30040636
8 resistances, great bulk and abilities, moves like t-spikes, scald and protect that poisons on contact
>>30040636
This thing is good, probably one of the best new mons this generation. Tons of utility with two excellent abilities for its role, solid defensive stats and typing and it can slowly whittle down teams with Poison. In theory it pairs up insanely well with Ferrothorn, as they both cover each others weaknesses almost perfectly. Could become a staple core in the new future
Finally found a Mareanie.
>MFW Relaxed and Merciless
Is there a limit on how many times an SOS can be called? Corphish seems to have become quiet.
And is it going to be toxapex first, or does it randomly come in amongst the corphish back ups?
>>30037381

It's Legendary so no.
>>30041462
>Skuntank instead of Drapion
Toxapex is worse setup bait than Chansey is desu, Chansey at least can Thunder Wave and Seizmic Toss
>>30041406
there isn't, but if you've inflicted a status ailment it stops calling for help
>>30041698
>5 Def against 152 def
>>30037413
They were relevant in spite of the poison type, not because of it.
>>30041660
It's cooler and more useful to the team. Scolipede is enough.
Toxapex is overrated garbage. People saw its stats and thought "wooooowwww new king of stall!!!!" but the reality is it can't do shit besides blindly throw out toxics or piss-weak scalds. It's set-up bait.
Salazzle is pretty good, especially since it can Toxic Steel and Poison types on the switch in.
Nihilego is amazing. Excellent speed, power, and special bulk. Can set up SR early on, and come back later to sweep, hell, if you manage to kill their lead you can sweep from the get-go. Good for killing Tapus too.

>knocks fixer pokemon requiring technical skill to pull off
>praises the legendary
pottery and knitting
>>30037381
Toxapex is going to be even better when it gets Regenerator. I think all 3 of them are pretty neat though.
>>30042902
Can't you chain it?
>>30041698
Toxapex learns Haze.
