People say that's a bad timeslot but my younger cousins are always up at like 5 or 6 am on the weekends consistently.

I'd rather not sit through Titans Go to watch painfully mediocre voice acting just to see how Bewear sounds in english.

Because they air it consantly. Go look at the lineup, it's easily almost 50% of what they air.

Pokemon getting canned is hardly the reason for this, but wow CN has regressed hard over the last couple years.

Back in 2011, when Adventure Time and Regular Show were good, that channel was actually worth keeping on in the background at all times. Now there's nothing. I've been told that Steven Universe is good but i've been reluctant to check it out seeing as a lot of the praise it's gotten has come from ex-bronies.

Be a use its godawful, consistently shuts on people who liked the series that came before it, and it's the only fucking thing they actually air anymore. CN attempts to cram it down everyone's throats, it precedes and follows anything new or different AND they play entire out of context scenes of it during commercial breaks so you can't even watch those without getting glimpses of it.

Mostly because it intentionally shits on fans of the original show. I personally find that hilarious; the show is three years-old and people are still autistic enough to take the bait.

But the rest of us who don't sperg out (as much) just dislike it because it's literally the only thing they air. At one point recently they aired TTG for two days straight, I'm not even joking.

Never watched the pony anime, but personally, I love SU. If you decide to give it a try, try getting to episode 12, since admittedly, it starts off slow. By episode 12 you'll know if you like/dislike it.

2008 is the year entertainment media took a massive hit and effectively shuttered off all means of progress and all the things you used to like. The economy reccession for one thing speeding up contracts. That and its also just a matter of time before... Well, time, forces change.

The WB signed off in 2006 because of contractual disputes with Time Warner and moves on to CW, a merger of UPN, due to failing ratings. Kids these days and kids throughout the mid 2000s just weren't watching cartoons anymore. They were watching cable cartoons instesd if anything. The switch from analog to digital also played a part.

You're never getting that shit back again. Kids in the NOW, the 2010s, if they watch something its on YouTube or Netflix, the Internet, not TV. There is no market for that. At best you will wake up in the morning after Adult Swim ends to a good healthy dose of Teen Titan Go Fuck Yourself.
