I've already extracted and patched the files.
You need either LumaCFW, or just homebrew access (n3DS only because the game uses extended RAM)

Just copy and paste one of the patched code.bins I linked into SD:/luma/code_sections
Hold select when booting Luma to open up the config menu, turn on "Enable region/language emu. and ext. .code" and press start

Extract the patched code.bins and rename them to 00175E00.code for Moon and 00164800.code for Sun.
Place it in SD:/hans/
Start up the homebrew menu and open HANS, open Pokemon through it.

Once the game's open, just scan one of the new QR codes from the updated PKHeX and it'll deposit the scanned Pokemon in the given box and slot. For example, the ones in this pic will deposit them in box 1, slot 1, 2 and 3 respectively.

Quick question for you injector-pals, is it possible to run around with illegal pokemon without fear of being banned?

When I try to load the game it says that the data is broken. I imagine it's due the fact that none of the injected pokemon have the "unkown encounter" cleared out, as I have no idea on how to fix that.

Hey guys, I have a question: I have Homebrew with Menuhax and that save manager whose name I don't remember (it's icon is a weird grey face and it says "handy save manager for ninjhax).
Thing is, I've been injecting in Y with that shit, I can't go online but I don't care right now, my 3DS is in a bad spot firmware wise.

I just want to use those tools to inject pokemon on Sun, not caring about online but I don't know if I'll be able to save Sun files and edit them with PkHex and I won't buy the game unless I'm certain I can inject with my shitty 3DS

I'm only now just getting to the third island, but when I load my save into PKHeX, looking at the event flags shows the received Cosmog checked off. No I haven't edited this particular save file before.

I'm assuming the flag is supposed to do that and gets unchecked later, but assuming it shouldn't be like this, is it a PKHeX problem or what? Anyone else notice this on their save pre-Cosmog?

I played a bit on the leaked Moon ROM, JKSVed that.

Then yesterday I installed Moon ROMfrom freeshop. I played a bit till I got a save.

But JKSV can't seem to inject my leaked rom save into the new one. JKSV actually can't even access the freeshop one (screen stays red).

I exported a save, copied it and modified it with PKHeX, but there was always a version that PKHeX didn't touch.

I think the best I can do right now is to wait for the actual oficial release, reinstall the game and try to inject the save in the newer updated version of the game.

I have a problem at the moment. When I imported my old Moon save data into a new Moon cart, the game is frozen and my character is not there. I can hear the game music playing though. Anyone know what's wrong?

It happened to me too. You are using the jksv homebrew version. I think that version is outdated. I solved by installing the most recent jksv .cia. I injected the save and it works flawlessly. However, I'm not sure if I'm safe to go online considering the save data knows that I started playing before the 18. installing oot3d is purely a thing you do on your pc with powersaves. It works on 11.2, but I'm not sure of jksm can target SM yet (if not chances are high you will be able in the future, a PASLR bypass has been found but not released yet).

powersaves does not tell you at all if what you are doing is legal or not, pkhex has a legality checker (which is not 100% correct either, but pretty ok so far)

Thanks anon. I QR scanned it in freeshop myself, that seemed to work as well. I'm now looking at pokemon sun as the first result. All clear right? Simply download and I can finally play trade online?

So I placed the patched code.bin into my /hans/ folder, selected HANS and had to do a quick setup since first time using it, renamed the file to the appropriate way, ran the game and all I got was a black screen and the game never ran. Did I mess up some where?

if you install a9lh (so fully hack your ds) you can go online anytime, even on the newest firmware.

If you plan to use the other 3ds to downgrade your current 3ds you can just update (11.2 is still downgradeable with a 2nd 3ds), otherwise you'd need a homebrew entry point (which you probably don't have currently) to prevent the update nag (also only possible on n3ds with pokemon SM)

do you have a n3ds? you need bootntr selector to start ntr and then you can inject using the debugger or similar. I made a version of pkhex that injects over ntr, but it has my pid and 3ds ip hardcoded.

Is there a reason why, when I load up my game, it freezes when the music plays after doing an injection? I have a back up so I didn't lose anything but every time I try to do the injection it keeps happening
