Alright, I've come up with this, adding Graveler/Golem and Wishiwashi as a bulky core. I'll just grab Ninetales later on I suppose. Any ideas for the last slot? I would like something I could grab early on.

vikavolt i skipped but he doesnt evolve from charjabug or whatever his second is until 4th island, same with magnetbro whom i used anyway

kommo-o is late game from what I understand. If you're looking for a fighting type, there are plenty of options available on the first island to tide you over until then if you really want it. Otherwise, bewear is somewhat rare (5% encounter rate for stufful on the second island, can anyone confirm?) but hits like a truck, is bulky af and has a pretty wide movepool

You can't get vikavolt until right before the climax of the game, though charjabug is decent that's why I recommend alola raichu

Kommo-o is actually even later than the point when you can evolve Vikavolt, if you want a rock type I recommend Minior who you get as soon as you get to the third island and is strong as shit

You can also get Stufful early, and Passimian early, and Crabrawler early (but it evolves real late)

Okay, thanks guys. I think I've settled upon this. I'll switch Bewear out for Kommo-o once I get it, but otherwise I think it looks pretty good, unless you guys have more suggestions. I'm kind of concerned by my x3 rock weakness, but hopefully that's counterbalanced by my water and fighting type, along with the fact that rock really isn't the greatest type.

Catch a Makuhita, you're almost guaranteed to find one in route 2 or 3 i believe because its sort of an overworld encounter. Both it's abilities are very useful and if you get guts, you can get a flame orb about halfway through the game and with Burn being nerfed, it's actually also an indirect buff to guts users and also makes toxic orb useless outside of 5 Pokemon
