Hello! I am what I believe you people would call a ‘normie’ (I think that’s what my weird friends who were talking about this board) and I am looking for advice for the new pokemon game (Hype for it coming out tomorrow XD). Should I get a Pikpek to begin with? Or should I get a Grubbin to begin with? I think my favorite pokemon in this new game is the Donald Trump pokemon XD or even better: THE HARAMBE POKEMON!!! XDXDXDXDXDXDXD I guess you could say I ‘Kecked’ to how many new memes are in this generation XD Stay cool, bros!!!
lol XD
So what level are you in Pokemon Go? Level 24 here

Pick the starter you like the most. You can catch grubbin and pikipek on route 2

Man, I spent all my time this summer on it! I'm a level 30! I thought "Hey, this is pretty fun! Let's play the other game!" XD It looks so cool! I'm gonna use a Z-Move every single battle!!! XDXDXD

Is this the new Penguin of DOOM?

Level 30?! DAYUM. You really are a pokenerd! XD
Honestly, I'd say just pick whatever starter your natural instinct says. You'll do just fine, lol.

Keldeo because Keldeo is one of the most influential Pokemon in the ORAS metagame, being not only a complete powerhouse on its own, but also notorious for its ability to wear down a good majority of its checks through Scald burns, exerting an incredible amount of pressure in most games. Unlike most special attackers, Keldeo isn't walled by Chansey thanks to its signature STAB move in Secret Sword, which allows Keldeo to prey on its low Defense stat, giving it an inherent advantage versus stall. Additionally, good Speed and fantastic Special Attack, coupled with a fearsome STAB combination, ensure that it pulls its weight in just about every matchup. Keldeo also sports solid all-around bulk for an offensive Pokemon and great typing defensively, which allow it to check several threatening Pokemon such as Bisharp, Weavile, Tyranitar, Mega Scizor, and Heatran. All of these traits combined make Keldeo a very low-risk, high-reward Pokemon, capable of fulfilling a variety roles effectively on several types of teams. Due to a limited movepool, though, Keldeo will always be walled by something depending on what coverage it chooses. Some notable examples include Latios, Starmie, Amoonguss, Mega Venusaur, and Mega Latias, and for the latter two in particular, it doesn't matter what coverage Keldeo may have regardless. Furthermore, while Keldeo's Speed tier is good, it still leaves it outpaced by quite a few common Pokemon such as Latios, Starmie, Serperior, Tornadus-T, and Mega Lopunny.
