Quagsire isn't something you encounter often with how often it changes tier. WH isn't bad but mimikyu needs all the HP it can get, I think having such great recoil would be more of a burden then anything.

It'll be OU, at least for the beginning. Three useful immunities as well as being decently bulky and having a pseudo-sub is pretty gud.

I can see him being a niche/surprise tank though, it has 80/105(!!!!) defenses, avoids damage 1 turn, and decent support movepool featuring

That's when you use Play Rough, which is stronger. It's only for the specific scenario that you're against something slower AND Play Rough is not effective AND you the 30 bp difference between the two gives you a 2HKO/3HKO.

fair enough, are there any notable z moves that mimikyu gets access to without z-splash? I don't know many z-moves besides the generic ones and Z-Destiny Bond/Z-Splash

The thing is, with Shadow Claw, you have fewer counters.

SD Life Orb Mimikyu can take out a Scizor, Heatran, Ferrothorn and has a good chance of taking out Skarmory after rocks before they can damage Mimikyu using Shadow Claw + Shadow Sneak or Shadow Claw again.

You bring Mimikyu in on something that its immune or highly resistant to either with a slow U-turn/Volt Switch or Baton pass or after your pokemon faints, then SD while they switch to a counter. You then trade attacks, doing immense damage to them while they only hit your disguise.

Quick question about Disguise; does it work like fake out where it blocks damage 1 turn when mimi is out and resets when it's switched out (so next time its out, it can block dmg again) or does it block 1 turn the whole battle and isn't reset when it is switched out?
