I turned off EXP Share and am at the E4's doorstep with a L45 team. Only a few Totem Battles forced me to get creative to beat them

The game is pretty tough if you don't use exp share or grind for levels.
But if you get a solid team going, learn some decent moves and stock up on tons of items it's doable.

I mean I am on the elite four right now. My team is only level 44-46. I almost beat the fighting kahuna first try. (One hit away)

I even swept the crazy evil lady's second tougher team that's all powered up with just a Salazzle alone. Toxic, nasty plotx2, and venoshock/flamethrower sweep.

I'm either going to grind to lvl50 or earn some money and stock up on items and try again.

It's do-able.
