Anyone else trying the Battle Tree? I'm trying doubles

Singles is too hard for me. I've only gotten to 7 before losing. Am I retarded or is my team bad?

This reminds me of a question I had since I am a total scrub. Are there any defense and sp. def boosting items besides Assault Vest and Eviolite. I want to boost my Milotic's defenses but I us it for Toxic so Assault Vest is a no go.

Not really. Defensive items are basically eviolite, AV, leftovers, and a few berries which are mostly shit options you shouldn't use unless you're item clause'd into them (and if you are your team's probably shit)

Terrain Extender Lele plus Megazam destroys everything.

Extremely bad. The less damage from SE berries have some uses but those ones are god awful. Only exception is if you have reliable recovery and even then lefties are just better.

I beat Singles already and got to 39 on Super Singles. The game started throwing Megas at me on 31.

I lost to Wally on 40 even though I already beat/scouted him on 10. I was being impatient since I already beat him and made a hard switch that I couldn't heal up from since Analytic Magnezone hit harder than I expected.

He has Garchomp, Magnezone, and I think Sableye but don't remember. I just remember it wasn't Gallade.

My team is Lefties Drampa, Mega Scizor, and Scarf Tapu Lele. It's great since it could beat everything thrown at it, hax aside (my first run I lost on 19 to a freeze). On the Wally Battle at 40, I made an impatient switch from Tapu Lele to Drampa instead of going into Mega Scizor first, to play against the Flash Cannon and Thundebolt resists respectively. The Flash Cannon did too much to Drampa and I couldn't heal up, since that was my out to it.

So far I've scouted Colress twice, Wally, Mallow, and some random people who had a Mega Kang, Mega Maw, and Mega Aero.

Will probably make another attempt sometime this weekend.
