I want to have this thing on my team but I don't know which setup I should run for it.
First of all, could anybody tell me the best nature to go for on this thing?
Is it better to be physical / special? Is it supposed to be tanky?
Like what role does it fill?

It's supposed to use shell smash, tank a shot, form change, and then sweep.
For SP i dunno, but who cares about natures and EVs when talking about SP?

it does best mixed, and shouldn't be played tanky at all. Use its temporary tankiness to set up then let loose once its form switches.

I made mine Special since it was Timid and had Ancient Power.

+2 Acrobatics hits like a truck so physical or mixed sets with Power Gem and Dazzling Gleam/Hidden Power for lures will be common. A suicide lead setup with Stealth Rock or Dual Screens and Explosion could also work.
Keep in mind it's a status absorber as long as Shields Down hasn't activated.
