>King's Shield attack drop now happens even if the user is immune to the contact move.
So they're not just nerfing everything.
Decidueyefags BTFO
the true gen 6 pseudo continues to exert its dominance desu.
>>29974760
What does Decidueye have to do with anything?
>>29974737
Actually pretty decent.
People will just continue to avoid making contact, but at least people won't be able to just use ineffective moves on the shield turn anymore.
Now all we need is a move that forces contact on non-contact moves ("Personal Space Attack", or something), and nothing will stop Aegislash... nothing!
>>29974798
Uh pseudos don't have 150 in EVERY stat, that would be ridiculous!
>>29974886
No silly I mean the sword makes goodra look like crap.
>>29974825
They must have misread it as "non-contact moves activate the attack drop now"
>>29974760
>Long Reach
Guess again faggot
>>29974932
the sword makes a good 2/3 of real legendaries look like shit
>Aegislash BUFFS
what the fuck is gamefreak doing
is there a list that includes ALL the small buffs and nerfs digimon received?
>>29975425
Fixing it. Aegislash wasn't that good.
>>29976547
>Aegislash wasn't that goof
>>29976547
>>29976571
Aegislash is good, that I will disagree with, but it is a heavily overrated Pokémon. I find them predictable and easy to disassemble.
I've always preferred Eviolite Doublade, personally. Keeps its high defense and high attack at all times, instead of having to dance around.
>>29976571
Smogon only thinks Aegislash is broken because it turns the game into a coin flip ("will he shield or will he attack?") and they want the game to be as predictable as possible.
But Aegislash is certainly strong, not just as broken as some people want to make it out to be.
>>29974737
So this is mostly a Kanga nerf
>>29976673
>Smogon can't into prediction and decided to call it a coin flip
How come tons of people follow their clause like a fucking sheep?
>>29976612
Duoblade lacks attack power, especially on the Special side.
>>29976673
Seriously, what the fuck is the 50/50 meme?
Prediction is the entire point of the game
>>29976850
Because people are stupid and do whatever the poketubers tell them to.
>>29976612
But Doublade has worse special stats
>>29974798
Oh boy here we go again
>>29974737
I really want Spookysword to be useable in gen 7 OU. I hope this doesn't affect that.
Thinking about it though, it doesn't seem like it'll affect singles at all. When would you ever use a noneffective move on Aegislash? It can't switch in and use King's Shield at the same time.
>>29975298
I think that was exactly the point. Long Reach (immunity) won't stop you from having your attack lowered by King's Shield
Not that Decidueye will end up in OU let alone Ubers anyway
>>29976850
i know right, when they banned sucker punch it was the last straw for me
>>29977301
The moves that are affected by Long Reach are considered non-Contact, the King's Shield should not affect Decidueye in any case, just now Normal, Figthing and Poison contact moves will get -1 atack
>>29976673
>>29976850
>>29977136
>>29977144
>>29977333
>implying a heavy prediction based meta is good
Sub-50% GXE plebs detected, you idiots build your teams around 50-50s and then cry when your W/L reflects the very nature of your team. Sad!
>>29977771
prediction is literally just skill
>>29977771
aw shit you just invalidated poker and trading card games as games of skill with your flawless logic
>>29977333
wait when did Smogon ban Sucker Punch? Baton Pass clause was the last straw for me, I'm yet to hear about this bullshit.
>>29977301
You got it wrong, it means that king's shield will lower the attack even if aegislash itself is immune to the contact move that was used.
Non-contact moves still do trigger it.
>>29977849
>he thinks high% choices = blatant 50-50 locks
>>29977791
>50-50s are skill
Ayyyyyy
